About Toledo Tree Trimming

Toledo Tree Trimming is a free phone referral service for homeowners in Toledo, Ohio and nearby towns. We help you understand your tree problem, and when you call, we connect you with a local tree care provider.

What we are, and what we aren't

We're a small website, not a tree company. We don't own trucks or chippers, employ climbers, or carry tree-service licenses or insurance. The provider we connect you with is an independent business. They give the quote, do the work, and bill you directly.

Why this site exists

Finding a tree crew can be frustrating. You call three companies, two never get back to you, and the third can't come for a month. Meanwhile you're not sure if your tree needs a trim, a removal, or a city permit. We built this site to answer those questions in plain language, with real Toledo details, and to make getting a quote as simple as one call.

Who answers the phone

When you call, you're connected with an independent tree care business that serves your area. Providers can change over time, but the phone number stays the same. We don't vouch for any provider's work, so always ask for proof of insurance and a written quote before work starts. Our guide to tree trimming costs lists the questions to ask.

How we make money

The provider may pay us a fee for the calls they receive through this site. You never pay us anything, and the fee isn't added to your quote. Read the full referral disclosure.

How we write our guides

Our guides on street tree permits and yard waste disposal are based on official City of Toledo and county sources, which we link at the bottom of each guide. Local rules change, so we update guides when we learn about changes.

If something goes wrong

If something went wrong with a job, talk to the provider first, since they did the work and you paid them directly. If that doesn't fix it, you can file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section.
